Well, it will, if you use a skimmer box lid and a mat .This combination will treat up to 100,000 litres by wrapping the mat around the pipes and using a skimmer box lid, supplied by Poolrite, your pool will sparkle, simply because the mat and the plate will eliminate the bacteria in the water.

This phenomonem will not happen straight away. Normally about 24 hrs for the mat or plate to take control. The water needs to be moving for the bacteria to be eliminated. The plate and the mats will also help to keep the algae away. Chemicals can be reduced by up 50%. This needs to be verified by taking a water sample, and having it tested at a Laboratory.



If there is a building that has an overhang over part of the pool, a bracket holding a plate can be erected over the pool, then this will act very quickly. If the pump is not on but there is a wind blowing over the surface of the water, this action will also help the plate to work as the water is technically moving.
